Lisa Walker in VR - National Museum Of New Zealand - Te Papa
We're delighted to have our Lisa Walker Virtual Reality experience go live this weekend with the opening of the Toi Art Gallery at Te Papa.
This experience provides the visitors of Te Papa the opportunity to meet renowned jewellery artist Lisa Walker in her workshop, sharing stories of her jewellery, inspirations and tools.
Te Papa's digital team lead by Prue Donald and Charlotte Davy (Head of Art) saw the opportunity to infuse Virtual Reality into their new Gallery.
“We designed this experience to allow Te Papa visitors to effortlessly move between a contemporary artist's physical works and their creative work behind the scenes” said Brian, co-founder of I Want To Experience.
“Watching people’s faces light up when they enter Lisa’s world shows the power of the medium in how it can connect us to each other and allows the audience to connect with her art on a deeper level”.
This was wonderful opportunity to showcase some of the technology we're building for our customers, whilst at the same time, we worked closely with Te Papa's digital team to match the larger theme of the Gallery to provide a seamless experience for their visitors.
The Lisa Walker Virtual Reality experience will be available to the public until July 2018 at the Toi Art Gallery.
